This Week’s Run

This week’s run will start at the Sevier Park Picnic Shelter at the corner of Granny White Pike & Clayton Avenue in 12 South at 6:30 am.

This is a great run that takes us from 12 South down Lealand Avenue towards Radnor Lake. The loop continues north passing Lipscomb University, Belmont University, passing through Music Row, and back down 12th Avenue South.

The full loop is a 12 mile run but adding on, turning around, or cutting the loop short at any point is welcome.

The 12 South Tour offers a nice mix of hills, flats, a little suburban and some urban terrain. Please be cautious and alert on city roads with no sidewalks. Hydration will be provided at the start/finish and at St Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, around the 4 mile mark.

Parking is limited in the small lot by the picnic shelter. Overflow parking is available at the Sevier Park Community Center. Please arrive early in case you need to park at the community center.
