Our Mission

We exist to make East Nashville a great place to live and run, and to make running accessible to everyone in the community.

In June 2008, a few friends started meeting up at “The Yellow House” to run East Nashville’s neighborhoods for fun and exercise. They liked it so much, they made it a weekly thing–every Wednesday–rain or shine. What was once a group of 10 or so runners, has grown into one of Tennessee’s largest running groups. We love our neighborhood and strive to be involved in making it a great place to live and run. Come join us to not just build fitness, but to build community as well!

What We Offer

Wednesday Runs

Our main organized runs are held every Wednesday evening at 6pm - year round, rain or shine, hot or cold. We have had runners every Wednesday night for over 10 years. There is nothing to sign up for or fee to pay. Just show up, meet some great people, listen for your pace group, and run!

Meeting location: 12th & Holly

Half & Full Marathon Training Programs

We offer free half, and full, marathon training programs annually, geared toward a target race in Nashville.

Couch-to-5k Training Program

Potato-to-Tomato is our free Couch-to-5k training program that we offer each Summer.

Who We Support

We love our neighborhood and strive to be involved in making it a great place to live and run. East Nasty and our runners support local groups, provide free training, and strive to make running available for all who want to join.  If you know of a group needing assistance, please let us know!
