Officer Position

Please choose the board officer position you are interested in filling during the 2025-2026 board term. Holding an officer position will also include membership on the Executive Committee. Vice President: The Vice-President is responsible for working hand-in-hand with the president and executive committee. Key duties include: - Working with the president and executive committee to endure that meetings and other activities are well planned and proceed smoothly, - Taking on special duties and projects as defined by the president and executive committee, and - Assuming the duties of the president should he or she be unavailable. Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for managing the financial affairs of the organization. Key duties include: - Monitoring the checkbook and other cash accounts, - Managing cash flow and approving expenses per policy, - Maintaining accurate financial records and reports, - Overseeing the budgeting process and financial planning, - Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements, and - Preparing year-end financial statements for publication and reporting. - Special Qualifications:- Experience in finance, accounting, or a related field. Knowledge of non-profit financial management is a plus.
