East Nasty is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization born out of a grass roots group of runners. A lot of us live in East Nashville, and the rest of us wish we lived in East Nashville. We love our neighborhood, and we exist to make East Nashville a great place to live and run, and to make running accessible to everyone in our community.
Just about everything we do is free to participants and is run by volunteers. If you would like to donate to East Nasty, use the PayPal button below. To help cover our insurance cost, we suggest a $10 donation per runner per year. Thank you!
Our main organized runs are held every Wednesday evening at 6pm – year round, rain or shine, hot or cold: Wednesday Runs. There is often an unofficial Wednesday morning run at 6am. There is nothing to sign up for or fee to pay. Just show up, meet some great people, listen for your pace group, and run!
Our free Half/Full Marathon Training Program has organized runs on Saturday mornings and Thursday nights from January through April.
Potato-to-Tomato is our free Couch-to-5k training program that we offer each Summer.
Check the main page of this site for training schedule updates and our East Nasty of the Week spotlight.
Most importantly, we love our neighborhood and strive to be involved in making it a great place to live and run. East Nasty and our runners support East C.A.N., the Stratford High Cross Country Team, Girls On The Run, KIPP Academy track team, local races, including the East Nashville Tomato 5K, and of course our local businesses. Come join us to not just build fitness, but to build community as well!
